Raquel Montoya is a print designer and illustrator from Madrid. From a very young age, her passion was drawing. Happy with a piece of paper and a box of colored pencils she could spend entire afternoons. She studied Fine Arts and specialized in design. After a few years, she discovered print design, a discipline in which she was able to unite all the knowledge she had previously acquired, both artistic and digital, to create beautiful designs that could be applied to any surface such as fabrics, stationery, wallpaper, etc. An animal and plant lover, she finds her inspiration in the forms of nature, but also in art, geometry, textures and color itself. This tropical-themed collection is a good example of this. Flowers, leaves, fruits and animals combine to create these beautiful silk scarves.
THE ARTIST
This scarf collection is a collaboration with artist Raquel Montoya. With an artistic inclination since childhood, her passion and training has led her to be a creator and designer of beautiful prints that are influenced by nature. Her inspiration comes from the beauty that surrounds her. Nature, Flowers, Colors… Based in Madrid, she takes every opportunity she has to soak up inspiration and continue to evolve as an artist. The colours of this scarf are so vibrant and beautiful, providing a really pretty contrast with darker hair. The silk is super smooth and of fine quality.

This scarf is simply gorgeous! The pattern and those vibrant blues makes me think of El Andaluz and the mediterranean sea and sky. Beautiful fabric too, light and very soft to the touch.
Hamzah also went out of his way to contact me, when I failed to provide shipping info. Great buying experience, thank you!
