Silk, modal or silk with wool: which to choose
- Natural silk: light, with drape and a soft sheen. The all-year option, and the one that works best with a shirt and jacket.
- Modal: soft to the touch with a matt finish. More understated and easy to wear every day.
- Silk with wool: more body and warmth, made for autumn and winter.
- Silk and modal: a middle ground between the two fabrics.
Sizes
Most measure 180 × 65 cm, enough for one or two turns around the neck. There are also wider 200 × 65 cm designs and narrower ones, 190 × 45 cm and 170 × 40 cm, which sit flatter under a jacket.
Colours and prints
Blues, greens, browns, greys and blacks predominate, alongside brighter reds and oranges. The prints are Hamzah designs, most of them inspired by the tiles and mosaics of Al-Andalus. They are the same unisex designs as the rest of the shop, gathered here to make choosing easier.
